$4,000+ Raised for COTA!

The benefit on May 23rd was a great success!  We raised over $4,000 for COTA for Jack and had a great time doing it!

The Hopleaf staff - Nick the bartender, Starr, everyone in the kitchen, Meaghan and Mike - were great!  We had wonderful food from The Hopleaf (incredible sandwiches and frites), some delicious sandwiches from Piato Pronto on Clark St., bagels from Einstein Bros., and home made cookies from Rachel Claff.  Wonderful!  Pete Crowley and the Rock Bottom Brewery provided the delicious beer.

We had a very successful silent auction with an array of terrific items, thanks to the benefit committee: Rachel Claff, Heather Riordan, Caitlin Stainken, Joe Dempsey, Phil Ridarelli, Bob Stockfish, Heidi Thompson Saunders, Amy Carlton, Jay Torrence, Steve Mosqueda, and Chloe Johnston.

BoyGirlBoyGirl (Edward Thomas Herrera, David Kodeski, Rachel Claff, Stephanie Shaw, Susan Karp, and me) entertained with stories about childhood, hair removal, memory loss, and mothers, among other things.  John Szymanski and Naomi Ashley provided the music - which brought down the house.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the event a success, especially the 70+ people who came to the event.  We couldn't have done it without all involved!

Cheers!
